Van Bommel gets his gram in Kosovo and continues in the Conference League

Mark van Bommel advances with Royal Antwerp FC to the third heat of the Conference League. In a match, in which FC Drita did not intervene in contrast to the first match, the Belgians finally managed to win 0-2.
During the first match in Antwerp, the final score became 0-0, which meant that both teams needed a victory. Summer acquisitions Vincent Janssen and Toby Alderweireld were given a base place by trainer Mark van Bommel. Royal Antwerp had to do without their supporters during the away game in Kosovo, due to a sanction from UEFA.
FC Drita started the game with a different way of playing than in the first game. Then the Kosovans mainly dug in, but this duel they chose the attack. This created equal opportunities for both teams. Eventually, the fire from the initial phase flattened a bit and both teams went into halftime without goals.
After the break, Antwerp started strong and immediately came a goal. Note the Belgian with Kosovian roots, Laurit Krasniqi made the liberating goal for Mark van Bommels team. Because Drita had to come now, there was a lot of room for Royal Antwerp, giving the Belgians more and more opportunities. Finally, in the absolute final phase, Elis Balikwisha finished it with the 0-2 for Royal Antwerp. The Belgians thus advance to the third heat of the Conference League.
