Van de Looi has good news for Ajax and Utrecht: ‘I think it was bad’

Erwin van de Looi came up with good news for Ajax, FC Utrecht and Lille OSC after the EC qualifying match between Jong Oranje and Young Wales. Both Devyne Rensch, Quinten Timber and Sven Botman went to the side prematurely, but make up for it.
At the end of the game, Van de Looi ESPN spoke and reassured the clubs. โ€œThere were some guys who lost weight with complaints, but I think it was a bit too bad. It was cramped and has a bit to do with the status of a lot of players we have here. Some dont play much or quite a lot, like Sven. Thats a pretty tricky puzzle.โ€
That causes injuries every now and then and the national coach would have preferred to change differently. โ€œIf low-play players have to play such a match, at best a heavy field, and you want to play at a decent pace, thats an attack. In the end, you want to change, but some of them fell a bit earlier than we would have liked.โ€
