Van den Brom put aside in Saudi Arabia after just over a month

After 37 days, John van den Brom has already left as a trainer of Al-Taawon. The Dutch trainer had only seven duels under his wing of the club from Saudi Arabia. The reason for his departure has not been announced.
Al-Taawon reports Saturday that the partnership has ended. Van den Brom joined the club at the end of March and he took Denny Landzaat with him, among others. The departure of the former midfielder at William II had the necessary feet in the earth. Whether he leaves, too, does not become clear.
Van den Brom began his adventure in Saudi Arabia with a 1-2 victory over Al-Duhail SC, in the group stage of the Asian Champions League. He also won 3-0 against Sepahan in that tournament, but the remaining four group duels resulted in three defeats and a tie. That was not enough to continue in the tournament. Subsequently, the league game was also lost on Thursday against Al-Ettifaq (0-4), a direct competitor in the fight against relegation.
Al-Taawon fell below the red line due to defeat. That seems to have been enough reason for the club leadership to put Van den Brom on the street.
