Football: Van den Brom sees new club Genk win

22.51 hours: Racing Genk, the new club of trainer John van den Brom, has won the away match against Sint-Truiden with 1-2 in the Belgian competition. Theo Bongonda excelled with the visitors. He scored twice in the first half. Genk climbed to the second place, at one point of the leader Charleroi.

Swimming: KNZB adjusts qualification procedures after closing swimming pools

Football: Granada wants to postpone duel with Real Sociedad after corona infections

22.36 hours: Granada wants the duel with leader Real Sociedad from Sunday to be postponed. The southern Spanish club has several players and staff members who are infected with the coronavirus.

Coach Diego Martinez is infected with the lung virus and last Thursday, attacker Antonio Puertas showed symptoms of Covid-19 as he was on his way to Cyprus for the duel with Omonia Nicosia in the Europa League. He traveled back separately from the team. Defender Jesus Vallejo had already tested positive before and also attacker Roberto Soldado has not returned after a positive test two weeks ago.

Tennis: Zverev at the expense of Nadal to finals in Paris

Golf: Luiten stranded on the third day Cyprus Showdown

15.39 hrs: Golfer Joost Luiten failed to reach the closing day at the Cyprus Showdown, the second tournament of the European Tour on the Mediterranean island. On the third day Lluiten went around in seventy strokes, one below the average. With this he was shared 24th, where only the best sixteen go to the last day.

The tournament in Cyprus has a new format. After two laps, the best 32 in the stand went on to the weekend and the scores went back to zero. After the third round, the best sixteen will continue and the scores will lapse again.

Cycling: Veldrijder Ryan Kamp European champion at promises
