Van Gaal shakes hands with winners: Mühren, PSV talent, NAC goalkeeper and Lukkien

Robert Mühren was voted best player of the last Kitchen Champion Division season on Thursday night. The striker of FC Volendam received the prize from national coach Louis van Gaal, who stated that Mühren can also show it in the Eredivisie.
Mühren had a big part in the promotion of Volendam, because he scored 29 times and prepared a goal of a teammate twelve times. That earned him the award of best player of the past season. He trumped Thijs Dallinga, Patrick Pflücke, Joey Sleegers and Rui Mendes. Van Gaal, who presented the award, stated that Mühren can also be done in the Eredivisie.
Awards were also given to the best talent, the best goalkeeper and the best trainer. The talent award went to Johan Bakayoko of Jong PSV, who broke into paid football in the Eindhoven promise team at the age of eighteen and scored seventeen times this season. Nick Olij of NAC Breda became the best goalkeeper and the best trainer was Dick Lukkien of FC Emmen.
