Robert Mรผhren was voted best player of the last Kitchen Champion Division season on Thursday night. The striker of FC Volendam received the prize from national coach Louis van Gaal, who stated that Mรผhren can also show it in the Eredivisie.
Mรผhren had a big part in the promotion of Volendam, because he scored 29 times and prepared a goal of a teammate twelve times. That earned him the award of best player of the past season. He trumped Thijs Dallinga, Patrick Pflรผcke, Joey Sleegers and Rui Mendes. Van Gaal, who presented the award, stated that Mรผhren โcan also be done in the Eredivisieโ.
Awards were also given to the best talent, the best goalkeeper and the best trainer.
