Louis van Gaal acknowledged after his Orange Retree that the Netherlands did not play its best match against Norway on Wednesday. The national coach already hammered the team stake before the game and did so again afterwards.
Orange could not be dissatisfied with his 1-1 draw in Oslo due to late 2-2 at Turkey-Montenegro. “We may think that this Dutch team is the top in the world, but it is not,” says Van Gaal in a conversation with DecceIT afterwards. “We also need to work as a team. Norway also played very well as a team. And then you have to show creativity that we miss right now.”
However, the coach seems to want to continue on the road that goes 4-3-3 instead of 5-3-2. “I think it goes too far to say after one game that we cant play 4-3-3. That also has to do with the shape of the players day. But I said in advance that we are skinny on the outside. And that has been shown today (Wednesday, red.).”
