According to Variety, HBO is developing another โGame of Thronesโ prequel series based on stories about Duncan and Egg. These works by George Martin tell the story of the itinerant knight Duncan the High and the gunmaker Egge, who is actually Prince Eyegon Targaryen. The action takes place 90 years before the main events of the saga, and, according to plans, the author wanted to complete the series at the coronation of Eyegon.
At the moment, only three news have been released, and the last one is in 2010. Martin wanted to write a few more stories, but according to tradition, he still did not have time to complete the work on them.
However, it‘s not the only new project HBO wants to see in the โGamesโ universe. According to the media, the channel plans to roll a Disney+ similar scheme with โStar Warsโ for HBO Max, releasing a number of pieces in one franchise.
