Vergoossen: “I think everything around Fortuna scares off”

Sef Vergoossen blames the absence of a new trainer for Fortuna Sittard on the current situation of the club, which, according to him, could deter a possible new coach. The former trainer of PSV and Roda JC, among others, thinks that the search for a new practice master may take a while.
Recently it came out that the Limburgers had a conversation with PEC Zwolle trainer Dick Schreuder. The brother of Ajax trainer Alfred Schreuder thanked for the offer and stayed on board in Zwolle. Quite remarkable, says Vergoossen in the program Table Football on L1.
Every trainer would normally want to go to the Premier League from the Kitchen Champion Division. So if he cancels, you know its going to be a tough job. I think everything around Fortuna is a deterrent. Its going to be a difficult quest.
The Limburgers, who are still dangling at the bottom of the Eredivisie without points, fired Sjors Ultee on 22 August. Since then, the honors have been observed by interim trainer Dominik Vergoossen (Sefs cousin), although according to various sources, the much-discussed Burak Yilmaz would also have a major influence on the current state of affairs.
