Unlike President Donald Trump, American vice president Mike Pence will be present at the inauguration of President Joe Biden on January 20. Thats what an employee of Pence announced.
The Vice President presided over the Congress session on Wednesday in which Bidens election win was officially confirmed when President Trumps supporters stormed the Capitol. That was very against the wishes of Trump who called on Pence to sabotage the ratification. Pence refused to respond to Trumps call.
Politico magazine reported one day after the storming of the Congress that Pence will be present on 20 January. According to three sources close to Pence, his choice to be present at the invotion of Biden became much less difficult due to Trumps criticism before and after the formalisation of the election results, according to Politico.
