Virginia Giuffre pleased that bail application Ghislaine Maxwell has been rejected

Virginia Giuffre, an alleged victim of abusive billionaire Jeffrey Epstein, is not grieving that Ghislaine Maxwell‘s bail request was rejected on Monday.

Ghislaine Maxwell stays behind bars where she belongs, writes Giuffre on Twitter.

Maxwell, Epstein’s right-hand man, wanted to bail $28.5 million in order to be able to wait for the trial against her in freedom next year. Judge Alison Nathan rejected that request. Nathan said that federal prosecutors have convinced her that Maxwell constitutes a flight risk, and that a bail does not provide sufficient assurance that she will appear in court in the future.

For

half a decade, Giuffre has been telling her story about what had been done to her by Epstein and Maxwell. At the age of 17 she was forced to have sex with British Prince Andrew.
