Vitesse finally knows what winning is and takes first three-pointer at Groningen

Vitesse has finally won his first win of the season. The Arnhemmers were the better team against FC Groningen and managed to win a 0-1 victory over the line.
Vitesse has had some tough weeks. The Arnhemmers lost a lot of players in the summer and were barely able to get newcomers for a long time due to an airborne takeover. Vitesse thus had a dramatic start of the season with one run out of four games. On a visit to Groningen, however, Thomas Letschs team got off to a good start.
Vitesse was the parent party from the first minute and that also resulted in a hit after more than ten minutes. Bayern Munich mercenary Gabriel Vidović scored the goal, but the VAR rejected him due to offside play.
After that, Vitesse remained dominant, but the game became less fun to watch. Nothing happened for a long time, until the seventieth minute arrived. Bartosz Bialek and Enzo Cornelisse already came to good chances and not much later captain Matús Bero also managed to score. The midfielder benefited from weak defending of Groningen.
After that, the home team did not come to a final offensive, leaving it 0-1. As a result, Vitesse takes his first three points of the season and climbs up the rankings. Groningen remains stuck at five points out of five duels.
