Loïs Openda seems untenable for Vitesse. In principle, the mercenary of Club Brugge returns to Belgium, but is eager for a transfer to a new destination.
With eighteen Eredivisie goals, Openda was of great value to Vitesse this season. The attack leader indicates that he is ready for the next step in his career. “I think I want to take a good step after this season,” he says talking to ESPN. “The season is about to end. We still have a few games to go. I think its time for a transfer. One step higher. To continue there on the same footing as here.”
For the first time in his career, Openda was recently called up for Belgiums national team. He realizes that if he wants to stay in the picture with the Red Devils, he has to go to a club where he has a lot of perspective on playtime. He excludes a return at Club Brugge. “I still have a contract with Club Brugge, but for me it is not good to go back to Bruges, because I want to go to another club.”
