Vitesse officially responded to the events during the tumultuous Eredivisie duel with FC Utrecht from the late Sunday afternoon on Monday evening. The game was temporarily interrupted after a large load of fireworks was thrown from the workout.
The Domstedmen already expressed disgrace of this incident, Vitesse is not exactly happy about it either. “A visit to a Vitesse home game should always be a yellow-black football party. The game with FC Utrecht did not go last Sunday as we all want to see it so much, , the Arnhemmers look back at the home game won 2-1. “The game was good, the goals were nice, the atmosphere on the home compartments was cozy and the result was great, but all these positive things were overshadowed by an event that took place right after halftime.”
Vitesse now wants to give back to his young fans. “A lot of children in particular are quite shocked. Because we want to show these young Vitessenars how much fun it can be at Vitesse, we offer all those present under the age of 16 a free competition visit. The club will provide vouchers for the home game with AZ on Sunday evening 28 November or the cup game with Sparta, which will be scheduled in mid-December on a date to be determined.
If the young supporters are season ticket holders, then they can take a boyfriend or girlfriend to AZ or choose the cup match against Sparta themselves. The more supporters use this promotion, the more we like it. Because at all the next matches, together with our supporters, we want to make a football party again! Vitesse concludes his statement.
A visit to Vitesse must be a party! 💛🖤 However, the game with @fcutrecht didnt go the way we all want to see it last Sunday. But we will soon be happy to show the young Vitessenars how much fun it can be at Vitesse! #Vitesse #VITutr
