What can you expect today?

It’s the last day of the trial against PVV leader Geert Wilders. He gets the last word in the extra secured court at Schiphol Airport. From 9.30 a.m. it can be followed via a live stream on the website of the CCeit. Wilders is on trial because in 2014 he asked his supporters whether they wanted more or less Moroccans, on which they said “Less! scanned and Wilders said: “Then we’ll take care of that”. The mbo-training courses are going to start again. Just like in higher education, most of the lessons are given online, and during the practical lessons one and a half meter distance has to be kept. Students are worried about the quality of education and the growing lack of internships. In the District Court of Utrecht there is an interlocutory injunction by Stichting Viruswaarheid against the RIVM and the State. The action group wants access to RIVM documents on which advice for coronavirus measures is based. The four suspects detained for the death of Bas van Wijk, who was shot at the beginning of this month in Amsterdam, will hear whether they will remain in prison any longer.
