What to expect today?
What did you miss?

Everyone with basic insurance with health insurance provider DSW will pay 3.25 euros a month more next year, bringing the premium to โ‚ฌ127.75. DSW will be the first insurer with the basic premium for next year each year. The increase is caused, among other things, by the increasing use of expensive medicines and wage increases in healthcare.

With Prinsjesdag, the demissionary cabinet expressed the expectation that the average health premium would increase by 2.75 euros per month, but there was no increase in wage increases for healthcare staff. They are paid with a higher healthcare premium.

And then this:

In Nijmegen, the municipality apologized for the minibos of an elementary school was accidentally grounded. The tiny forest was almost the size of a tennis court and was planted by the primary school children two years ago. There were all kinds of plants and trees, which were now 1.5 to 2 metres high. The cost of building the miniforest amounted to 22,000 euros.

โ€œIt‘s really been a human mistake of someone who just hit the ground from the other side and didn’t see the signs, which says it‘s a tiny forest,โ€ says a spokesman for the mowing company to Omroep Gelderland. โ€œWe’re also going to make sure we get back to school.โ€
