What can you expect today?
What did you miss?
Dutch universities expect an increase of 5 percent in the number of students next year. Colleges see a drop of about 7 percent in applications.
Last year, the number of applications for both types of education increased by about 10 percent. This was due to the loss of the central exams due to the coronacrisis, and because few students took an intermediate year.
Universities explain the new increase this year because more students do VWO and more students from HBO move on to university. In colleges, they think the coronapic is behind them.

“ We can‘t perform anywhere on Earth right now, so we thought: let’s play it just for you,” joked singer Chris Martin on a video connection with the ISS.
