Warhammer 40,000 authors: Chaos Gate โ€” Daemonhunters talked about mechanics

Frontier Foundry, a division of Frontier Developments, has released the first installment of the developer diary series of future turn-based tactical RPG Warhammer 40,000: Chaos Gate โ€” Daemonhunters. Complex Games is working on the game with the support of Games Workshop. The first Beyond the Gate video diary focused on the story and the main global mechanics of the game.

There are two: the first, tactical combat, controls everything that happens on the ever-changing battlefield, from setting up and controlling the army to using obstacles and environmental hazards. Second, & laquo; Strategic Managementโ€, is responsible for the control of the battle cruiser The Baleful Edict and is involved in galaxy-wide battles.

Players are promised an exciting story created by the author Black Library by Aaron Dembski-Bowden, and a new take on traditional turn-based strategy. The game is coming to RS in 2022 and will be sold on Steam and the Epic Games Store.
