Bayer Leverkusen director has increased the pressure on trainer Peter Bosz. In an interview with Kicker he indicates that Bosz is supported by the board after the lesser results of recent times, but the club expects the team to achieve results in the coming weeks.
“Despite all the appreciation and support, he knows that we want to see things differently,” says Völler in conversation with Kicker. “We are in sixth place, but still have the connection with place four. However, there are many teams that have made up for us behind our territory. We have to be careful. Over the past few weeks, the matches have been close together. I dont want to cover it up.”
Leverkusen lost last weekend with 2-1 of demotion candidate Arminia Bielefeld. The series of Die Werkself is not good: only two of the last ten matches were won. The pressure on Bosz is intensified, but Völler indicates that the club still has the full trust in the Dutchman.
