Weghorst gets transfer advice: He deserves that, then well enjoy it

John Stegeman thinks Wout Weghorst has the power to make a top transfer. The striker of VfL Wolfsburg and the Dutch team played with Heracles Almelo under the practice master.
Weghorst made twenty league reffers for Die Wรถlfe this season, which earned him a place in the EK selection of national coach Frank de Boer. If its up to Stegeman, its not gonna stay there. โ€œIt would be nice if he could take a very nice step to another club,โ€ says the former trainer of Heracles to RTV Oost. โ€œHe deserves it, and then well enjoy it.โ€
The setting of the striker from Borne can help him in the next step. โ€œHe constantly takes on the level he is at and I find that very handsomeโ€, says Stegeman. โ€œAnd then he
s going to excel again and then hes going to take another step. So he adopts very easily level difference and I think thats very good for a player in paid football.โ€
At the European Championships Weghorst gets the chance to show himself to big clubs and his former trainer watches with great interest. โ€œIt makes me proud that a boy you trained has made it to the Dutch team. Thats pretty unique. It would be nice if he would shoot us very far at the European Championships.โ€
