Sébastien Haller hopes that Klaas-Jan Huntelaar will stay with Ajax. That‘s what he said after FC Twente – Ajax (1-3) against ESPN.
Huntelaar was worth gold for Ajax with two goals in one minute. “We are all very happy to have him. Everyone knows what kind of player he is and what kind of experience he has. That’s why he‘s so important in the locker room. Is he leaving? I don’t know. You have to ask him. That‘s why we’re trying to keep him with us. I‘m going to try it,” laughs Haller.
Haller made the first goal for Ajax. “This gives a good feeling. I’m a striker, so I just have to score and be important to the team. I could have made more, but I am very happy with it.”
The French-Ivorian striker feels at home with Ajax. “My teammates and the staff make me feel at home. It feels very good to be here, especially since we won today.”
