‘Wijnaldum on a rental basis may be relieved of situation at PSG’

AS Roma is close to the arrival of Georginio Wijnaldum, reports GOAL. The Italians are currently talking to Paris Saint-Germain about a one-year lease with an option to buy. The final purchase price of Wijnaldum will be between ten and fifteen million euros.
According to GOAL, it is expected that the deal will come to fruition one of these days, causing Wijnaldum to leave for AS Roma on rent for a year. Among the Italians, he will be the second addition of this summer. Earlier this summer, the Romans adopted Paulo Dybala transfer-free. AS Roma finished sixth in Serie A last season, making Josรฉ Mourinhos side sure of Europa League football. The club from the Italian capital already received this certainty, after the Conference League was won last year.
Earlier this transfer period, L
ร‰quipe already reported that Wijnaldum itself prefers a transfer to AS Roma. The presence of Josรฉ Mourinho as a trainer would play a role in this. Wijnaldum became redundant at PSG, after he managed to make little impression in his first season in French service. The Dutch midfielder entered the lines for the champion of Ligue 1 in 31 matches and managed to find the net once. Wijnaldums salary would also be a reason for the club management to let him go. The merits of the right foot are therefore the biggest issue in the negotiations for AS Roma.
