Young Leuven priest has collection of child porn with toddlers

On Friday, a court in Leuven sentenced a Belgian to ten months of probation for possession and distribution of child pornography. The thirties created a collection of sculptures with children from 1 to 3 years old during his education as a priest in the Abbey of Averbode.

A

few years ago Glenn G. from Diest put a stop behind his activities as an editor to enter the Norbertine Abbey of Averbode, part of Scherpenheuvel-Zichem. During his training as a priest, he created an immense collection of child pornography in 2016 and 2017.

The judicial investigation started on the basis of information from the United States. It reported that a user with a Belgian IP address had uploaded child pornographic photos on a chat site. Suspect used three nicknames.

On August 7, 2017, a search took place in which his computer was confiscated. On it were found images and videos with very explicit child pornography, with children aged 1 to 3 years. The analysis of the computer showed that the defendant was very actively looking for child pornography.

At the

session G. stated that the facts had already had a very big impact on his life because his education in the abbey was terminated by the fathers. His intention to dedicate his life to the church as a clergyman was shunted by it. Glenn G. was sentenced to ten months in prison. The sentence is on parole, under five conditions. He also received a fine of 1,600 euros.
