Zerrouki wants to go to Feyenoord and hopes for FC Twente: ‘Sporting improvement’

Ramiz Zerrouki hopes that he can make the switch from FC Twente to Feyenoord. The 24-year-old midfielder announced this after the game with FC Cukaricki in the preliminary rounds of the Conference League.
In front of the RTL7 camera, Zerrouki is initially still on the plain. โ€œWhat the future holds for me? Its hard to say. Its not in my hands right now. I havent dealt with it for the past 48 hours either. I wanted to focus on the competition.โ€
However, the Algerian international became more pronounced after that. โ€œEvery player has ambition. I am grateful to FC Twente for offering me the opportunity to grow from the youth to the Eredivisie. But every football player has ambition and wants to take a step,โ€ he acknowledges. โ€œI personally hope that the club wants to think along with my future.โ€
Feyenoord has already made a bid of five million euros. The Rotterdammers will sit down with Twente again on Friday. โ€œIt
s up to the clubs to get out. For me personally, sports are the most important thing. Feyenoord plays Europa League and I think I can grow into an even better player with the circumstances there,โ€ says Zerrouki, who is in the picture as a replacement for Fredrik Aursnes. โ€œAs everyone has learned, a player will leave Feyenoord. Im met for that position. I think I can come into my own as number six.โ€
Zerrouki has also heard that trainer Ron Jans doubts that ten million euros is sufficient. โ€œI
m under contract with Twente and they have to determine what Im worth. I personally hope that the club will think along with me. I gave everything in the time I played for FC Twente and always set up well. Twente has also given me a great opportunity and I think it can now be a win-win for all partiesโ€, he concludes.
