Zivkovic chops the knot, no return to the Eredivisie

Richairo Zivkovic does not return to the Eredivisie. The striker chooses an adventure in Serbia: he will sign at Red Star Belgrade.
PEC Zwolle and sc Heerenveen were interested in Zivkovic, who until recently kept all options open. According to Serbian sources, the striker landed in Belgrade, where he will sign at Red Star Belgrade in the short term. The transfer is a matter of time.
Zivkovic played for two and a half years at Changchun Yatai, China, where he left. And so Zivkovic is a free player. Red Star Belgrade had a concrete interest for a while, but had to take a seat in the waiting room. In addition to the Serbia club, other clubs were in the race, one more concrete than the other.
Zivkovic played in the youth of FC Groningen and switched to Ajax for about two million euros. He didn‘t come out of the paint in Amsterdam and so he was rented out. First to Willem ll, then FC Utrecht. Zivkovic then played for KV Ostend, Sheffield United, Guangzhou City and Changchun Yatai.
