Zlatan Ibrahimovic knows not to stop yet. The 38-year-old Swede has rejoined AC Milan after his holiday, where he will soon sign a new contract.
“Everything’s finally sorted out and I’m back at the club where I feel at home. I’ve always said that I’m not here as a mascot,” Zlatan said on arrival at the airport in Milan. “I’m here to help the team, the coach and the club.”
Last winter Ibrahimovic came over from LA Galaxy in the United States to show his skills in Lombardy for at least six months. With ten goals in eighteen league games, Ibrahimovic had a significant stake in the placement for European football.
“We have done well in the last six months, but we have won nothing. Milan has to go back to where it belongs,” said Ibrahimovic, who is said to be earning seven million euros.
