Mobile giant Zynga, which recently introduced multiplayer action star Wars: Hunters, announced the purchase of Torchlight 3 developers from Echtra Games. Terms of the deal are not disclosed, however Zynga wants release more games on traditional gaming platforms — consoles and computers. It looks like Star Wars: Hunters will be only the first swallow – it in addition to iOS and Android is scheduled for release on Nintendo Switch.
Now Echtra Games will help the NaturalMotion studio with the creation of an unannounced role-playing game for several platforms. In the near future Zynga plans several more purchases.
